1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and RentalCeylon (“we,” “us” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the rentalceylon.com website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto.

2. Booking and Payments

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by RentalCeylon.
• A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your vehicle or tour package.
• Final payment is due as specified in your booking confirmation, typically before or at the commencement of services.
• We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 7 days notice: Full refund of deposit minus administrative fees.
• 3 to 7 days notice: 50% refund of deposit.
• Less than 72 hours notice: No refund of deposit.
• Specific tour packages may have unique cancellation terms which will be detailed during the booking process.

4. Vehicle Use and Safety

For customers renting vehicles or using our transport services:

• All drivers must possess a valid international driving permit (IDP) and a valid home country license.
• Vehicles must only be driven on recognized public roads. Off-road use is strictly prohibited unless specified for 4x4 tours.
• Smoking and pets are prohibited inside the vehicles unless prior written consent is given.
• The client is responsible for all traffic violations and fines incurred during the rental period.

5. Liability and Insurance

RentalCeylon provides comprehensive insurance for all our vehicles. However, the client may be liable for an insurance excess in the event of an accident where they are at fault. We strongly recommend that all clients maintain their own travel insurance.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and your use of the Website are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka applicable to agreements made and to be entirely performed within Sri Lanka.

7. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Site at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of our services without notice at any time.
